The Fascination of the Moment
Moments – we have all experienced them – in which the eye perceives the perfection of a movement, focuses on concentrated energy combined with physical harmony, or traces with caressing glances the contours of a beloved being. Moments – that are made unforgettable by the beauty we have beheld, that stay with us for the rest of our lives, bringing us happiness. Moments – that put into perspective the finality of that which has already passed, that make time stand still and keep memories alive.
Moments – castin shimmering Metal My creative works unite wonder at the beauty of nature with an endeavour to catch the observer’s eye, make it linger and focus it on the true essence of the subject. These works reveal my long-time activities as a commercial artist in their formal reduction and dynamics, but remain in spite of that, or precisely because of that, recognisable, indeed unmistakable, to the observer.
